Delete your BidSmarter account

Delete it yourself, right now

You can delete your account from inside BidSmarter, on the website or in the app. It takes effect immediately.

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Choose the Dealer tab and scroll to Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm.

If you own a team with other members, remove them or hand the store to another member first. If you administer an auto group, hand the group over first. Settings will tell you if either applies.

What is deleted

Deleted immediately and permanently:

• Your account: name, email address and password.
• Your saved drafts, watchlist, dealer settings, notes you wrote on appraisals, and any pending email or password links.
• If you are the owner of a dealership account, the dealership record itself.

De-identified appraisal statistics, which contain no personal information, may be retained.

Billing records held by Stripe are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires; BidSmarter never stores card numbers.

Can't sign in?

Email bidsmarter.app@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We confirm the request with you and complete it within 30 days.
